The SAFER Grant has helped us recruit and retain firefighter and EMS volunteers and employees for North Dakota’s local firefighter and emergency medical services units throughout the State of North Dakota.

We Won! 2013 Bronze Telly Award

The Telly Awards has named Fat Cat Productions, a Bronze winner in the 34th annual Telly Awards for their Television Commercial/Public Service Announcement titled “We Need More Heroes”. Nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries participated in this competition. The Finley Volunteer Fire Department, EMS Services and Steele County Sheriff’s Department were all instrumental in the coordination, action, filming and integrity of the production.  Fat Cat Productions has been hired to produce a series of Public Service Announcements with a goal of recruiting and retaining volunteer firefighters and EMS members through-out North Dakota.
